When
Kanye West performs, he wants the whole venue up on their feet. This is a pretty normal thing to want from an audience, but in true
Yeezy fashion, he took it a step further. While performing “
The Good Life” at a show in Australia, West stopped in the middle of the song to address the crowd.
“I decided I can’t do this song,” West said,
interrupting his performance of “The Good Life.” “I can’t do the rest
of this show until everybody stand up, unless you got a handicap pass
and you get special parking and shit. And I’mma see you if you ain’t
standing up. Believe me. I’m very good at that.”
West went on to make sure everyone was following his orders.
“Is he in a wheelchair?” West said, pointing out into the crowd. “There’s two people left that don’t want to stand up,” West said.
After waiting a few moments,
West added: “This the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song. It’s
unbelievable. Now if he’s in a wheelchair, then it’s fine.”
